How to build in Voxels (again)

New here, or been away long enough that the keys feel rusty? This is the short version. Two links, then you can ignore us and go make something.

Practice in the scratchpad

Open the scratchpad. It is a sandbox lot that does not care who you are. Reload clears it, so nothing you do there is precious.

The checklist will walk you through it. If you skip that, the muscle memory is:

1. B turns on the voxel tool. Mouse locks to the world. Escape frees it.
2. Click to place a block. Drag for a wall or a floor.
3. Shift-click (or shift-drag) to delete.
4. Pick a color on the toolbelt, or press 1-9 while you are building.
5. Ctrl-click to paint a block with that color.

Tab, + on the toolbelt, or Add in the menu lets you peek at signs, images, video, showboxes, portals, the rest. Placing those for real happens on your parcel. When you are done, shop for a parcel.

Hang art on the wall

Once you have a parcel, you can put actual chain art on it. We wrote that down here: how to add art.

Short version: add an NFT image, copy the OpenSea URL (Ethereum, Polygon, or Base), paste it. CAIP-19 ids work too.

Scratchpad is in the menu. Art docs stay at /art. Neither one expires. If you forget everything except those two links, you can still build.
