Either because it is a “minority” of rebellious spirits moving through new systems, either because it is creativity to be in command of the ship, collaboration and borderless connections are two of the pillars in the crypto community. With a big help of the blockchain technology, that somehow is able to cancel space and time. The show CR(Y)PTALY is a homage to the scene of crypto art in Italy, happening in the occasion of Eth Turin. Together with Hackatao, we wanted to explore the status of crypto art in our country and we did it through an open call to which 16 artists, here exhibited, responded. There is a side of crypto art that always excited me the most: it is the total and exclusive consideration of the art. While receiving applications, reading through all these crazy “stage names”, there is no way to know about gender, provenance or social status of the artists. And that is when, for the first time, you realize that you have never needed them. We did the research, the answers are left to you. ####EleonoraBrizi
